Fill the desired skincare product up to the neck of the Airless Bottle, then screw-on cap. Pump several times until the piston raises the product and dispenses it.
NOTE: If the bottle is not filled to the top, it will take many pumps to get the product out. Also, unscrewing the cap will release the vacuum, and the pumping process will have to start over.
The mechanism for pumping doesn't use a straw, like most common pump bottles. Instead, it creates a vacuum at the intake valve at the top. The vacuum draws up the liquid and the pressure difference causes the plunger at the bottom to rise with each pump. Accordingly, don't block the little hole at the bottom, otherwise, air would not be able to get in on the other side of the plunger to push it up. This is the opposite of how a typical squirt bottle works, where you need air to get into the bottle to force liquid up the straw.
Perfect for: Foundations, serums, DIY lotions, gels and lightweight creams.
