Yes, the acne serum has been formulated to help the skin shed dead cells from the top layer and decrease redness and swelling. No, the serum does not have to be rinsed off. You can apply the serum after your cleansing routine, followed by your moisturizer and sunscreen.

You can combine BHA/AHA with Vitamin C with moderation and only if your skin tolerates it. AHA and BHA are exfoliants which can enhance the potency of Vitamin C but may also result too drying on the skin. We advise to always follow what your skin tells you. If you have combination/oily skin you may use a Bha toner in the morning (if you use Salicylic Acid, for instance, concentrations below 2% can be used also during the day) to keep blemishes at bay and then apply the acne serum and your moisturizer followed by sunscreen. On the other hand, if you have dry/normal skin and/or you have dehydration concerns, we do not recommend mixing BHA/AHA with Vitamin C as they could be too drying on a daily basis an could decrease your sebum production and weaken your skin’s moisture barrier.
