Which is the correct method of application?

You need to thoroughly wash off makeup, dirt, and debris from your face and eyes with a gentle facial cleanser. Then using the eyelash applicator brush, apply a thin layer to your upper eyelash line. Imagine you are applying eyeliner onto the lash line with a wand brush. Using the eyebrow applicator brush on the other end, apply a thin layer to each eyebrow. Imagine you are applying eyebrow makeup with a brow brush. Make sure your eyelash line and your eyebrows are dry when applying the product.

Does the product have a scent?

No, the serum is fragrance-free.

Can I apply mascara after this?

Yes, absolutely. You only need to wait a few minutes for the product to be absorbed and then you can proceed with your make-up application.

Why does it contain Phenoxyethanol?

As to the phenoxyethanol, it is mentioned in the ingredients under its scientific name: Rose Ether. We use Phenoxyethanol as a cosmetics preservative that’s considered one of the least irritating for use in formulations. It does not release formaldehyde. Phenoxyethanol is approved worldwide (including in Japan and in the EU) for use in all types of water-based cosmetics, up to a 1% concentration. The percentage we use is way lower than 1%. Our new formula has been tested in EU under strict chemical and organic evaluation tests and it resulted positive to all the safety tests.
The safety of phenoxyethanol has been assessed by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel several times. This group evaluated the foundational scientific data plus the newer relevant data, and concluded that phenoxyethanol is safe as a cosmetic ingredient. Interestingly, although the phenoxyethanol used in skincare products is almost always synthetic, this chemical occurs naturally in green tea, from which we get the Phenoxyethanol used in our formulation.
Further studies and accumulated safety data have shown that phenoxyethanol is nontoxic via dermal (skin) administration. In a study examining oral intake, increased weights of some organs were noted when high doses of phenoxyethanol were swallowed. The doses in this study were considered much higher than those that would result from using cosmetics and personal care products that contain phenoxyethanol (plus cosmetics aren’t meant to be eaten). In short, phenoxyethanol is considered a safe and effective preservative when used in amounts approved for use in leave-on or rinse-off cosmetics products.

How long does the product last?

The product contains a high quantity of serum on both sides. Considering that you need a tiny amount per application, if you use it every day, it should last from 3 to 4 months.

Do I need to rinse it off?

No, the product is not meant to be rinsed off.

Will the eyelashes and eyebrows spare if I stop using this?

No, this product helps the regrowth and the strength of both eyelashes and eyebrows thanks to the ingredients contained in the formulation. Therefore, if you stop using it after you obtained the desired result, your hair will not go back to how it was. However, to maintain its healthiness, we do suggest to keep using the product once/twice per week.

Does this product stain clothing or bed sheets?

No, the product is transparent and therefore causes no stains. Furthermore, it is easily absorbed by the skin and leaves no residue.

How long before seeing results?

Results start to be delivered after at least 40 days of daily use. Be consistent.

What is the expiration date?

The product has a 12 months shelf-life.

Is the product greasy?

No, the serum has a lightweight consistency which is easily absorbed and does not leave residues.
